Yesterday a couple of friends and I took the train to the very beautiful Château de Fontainebleau. Located south-east of France it was home to many kings from Louis XV to Napoleon III. Seeing the ‘Grand Appartements’ was fascinating…trying to imagine what it would have been like to live in those days. The amount of detail they go into building these palaces is truly amazing…

Just outside the gardens of Fontainebleau are many café’s and a cute little carousel for children.
Of course I had to go on it…
